Dementia Care

The course focuses on understanding the condition, managing symptoms, and delivering person-centered care that enhances quality of life. Students will learn effective communication strategies, behavioral management, and ethical practices. It emphasizes the emotional, psychological, and physical needs of patients with dementia. The program also addresses family involvement, cultural sensitivity, and the importance of dignity and respect in care. Practical tools for assessment, planning, and monitoring care will be introduced. By completing this program, learners will be prepared to deliver compassionate, evidence-based dementia care.

The course will commence in the first week of November.
